Popular Wheel Sizes (Street/Drag/Pro Street):
-
15x7 – Still common; +6mm offset for flush fit
-
15x8 – +0 to –12mm offset
-
15x10 – Rear use; –38mm to –44mm offset (4.5" BS is ideal for stock suspension)
-
17x8 – +0 to +15mm offset, clears with ease
-
17x9.5 / 17x10 – Rear fitment depending on tire width and whether it’s notched or mini-tubbed
General Fitment Tips (Both Gens):
-
Fronts (15x4–15x6 drag skinnies): +0 to +20mm offsets generally work, but brake clearance (especially dual piston conversions) must be checked.
-
Rears (15x10): Aim for 4.5" backspacing (approx. –44mm offset) to sit just inside the fender on stock leaf spring setups.
-
Mini-tubbed trucks: Can handle 15x10 or 15x12 with 5.5" to 6.5" backspacing depending on notch depth and tire size.
20x10.5 | +13 Offset | 5x4.75 Bolt Pattern Fitment Summary for S10:
- Backspacing: ~6.4"
(calculated using the formula: (width in inches + 1) / 2 + (offset in inches) → (10.5 + 1)/2 + 0.512” = ~6.38”)
Rear Fitment (Most Likely Use Case):
-
Stock rear setup (leaf springs, unmodified bed):
-
Too aggressive inward—will likely rub frame or leaf springs
-
Would need at least a 1/4”–1/2” spacer to clear depending on tire width and sidewall
-
May require rolling the inner fender depending on tire
-
Ideal with a notched frame or mini-tubbed bed
-
-
Mini-tubbed or narrowed rear end:
-
Excellent fitment
-
Backspacing is perfect for tucked setups with adequate inner clearance
-
